"I Make Clothing To Dress My Paintings Up, I Paint Naked Bodies Because That Is How I Feel… Unprotected, Defenseless, Exposed And At The Mercy Of Our World. Like A Child That Didn’t Learn The Right Things, Didn’t Have The Right Tools. So I Paint, Dance, Photograph, Film, Create, Capture & Expose My Fragility, My Humanity, My Limbs, My Soul, My Wounds, My Pain, My Love."

« To me it is evident that what we see in others is often a reflexion of a part of / something in ourselves.
I wonder; Is what we see intact, or is it modelled after our own preconceived ideas, education and believes?
At first I was not sure if I was painting myself, I was only painting a naked woman, but little by little I could observe some similarities.
In everything we are doing, we put a part of ourselves, or see a part of ourselves; here and there, somewhere lies our own reflexion .
We can only create what we are, what we know, how we experience, how we perceive a thing.
It feels interesting To be aware of what you see and express, understanding that no one, nothing, is really something else than yourself.

So I decide to dedicate and develop a series of auto-portraits in which I could see myself evolve and observe it, year after year.
Here is only the beginning of it: the first paintings that I have decided to include have been made in 2021; but most of them in the year 2023- 24

There is the thematic of the sexual body being part of every painting of this collection. Is it actually a sexual body? Or only a natural body?
Is it the reflexion of some instincts? Animality? Natural body?
Or is it the result of past Abuse? Trauma?

I have myself not yet discovered the reasons and enjoy exploring my own lost memories and present feelings.
I enjoy observing the interpretations that others can have of my work, as a dialogue with their soul»
